FARHANG, the IHCS quarterly magazine, is issuing the first special number in commemoration of Abu Ali Ibn Sina (Avicenna) Which will include articles on: medicine, mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, literature & politics as well as essays on editions on his manuscripts. Those wishing to contribute are kindly asked to send their articles in Persian, English, French or Arabic (app. 50 pages A4, double space), by July, 2008 to: FARHANG office.
